Phosphorescent record deck with arm that has had the needle replaced with strobing LEDs that paint messages onto the glow-in-the-dark platter. Also by multimedia-based exhibit creators Lab Binaer is the Bubbleizer which appears to be a multi-touch surface with water on top to provide an unique haptic experience (probably also helps with the touch tracking too).
