Yup, it’s ARis again. But thought I’d reblog it because
- Marcus pointed out that the biggest benefit of the 3D marker is that it lets you rotate the virtual object with a much larger freedom of movement than a flat marker can provide. For example, you can turn the object almost upside down; particularly important if you’re holding the marker in your hand.
- I thought in-place augmented reality was being used to add new clothes. On watching it again it’s obvious it’s not - but it would be cool if it was because that’d make the system completely open-ended.
