"Augmented Reality" via Addict-o-matic →
Addict-o-matic builds a custom web page (based on RSS feeds I guess) given a search query. You can customise the layout but you have virtually no control over the information. To merge, filter and munge information I’ve used Yahoo Pipes to process and netvibes to display. E.g. for the band ‘2ne1’ here’s the Addict-o-matic result and here’s my experimental...
Eminem’s AR graffiti competition. to premote the nre Relapse album. Spray-paint a 3D ‘E’ and upload. Uses FLARToolkit I think. A bit of an advance over the purely passive AR promos we’ve been getting.

Robots requesting help navigating a city
Both ends of the spectrum:
ACE, the Autonomous City Explorer from Martin Buss’s team at the Technical University of Munich, uses cameras and AI for finding humans, a speaker and screen to ask directions, and a touchscreen and gesture recognition to identify when the robot has been pointed in a new direction.
